Seasons in the District: A Year Through My Lens

Washington, District of Columbia

This photo series documents my visits to Washington, D.C. across the seasons, capturing the city’s evolving energy, architecture, and atmosphere. From the quiet reflections of winter to the vibrant blooms of spring, the heat of summer, and the golden tones of fall, each photo represents a different chapter in the rhythm of the capital. I was drawn not only to the iconic landmarks but also to the everyday moments that often go unnoticed. The light on the National Mall at dusk, the movement of people, and the contrast between history and the present all inspired me to keep returning. This collection is a personal record of how a city can look familiar yet feel new each time you see it through a different lens.
